Tulsa, OK – A tropical system forming in the Gulf is expected to impact eastern Oklahoma by midweek. Residents in Tulsa can expect rain and potential storms late Wednesday into Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, this system could bring 20% to 30% rain chances as it moves eastward, affecting areas along the Arkansas border. Although Tulsa may only experience light showers, parts of southeastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas could see more significant rainfall.
Current temperatures in Tulsa remain mild, with highs reaching 86°F today and 87°F on Tuesday. By Wednesday, temperatures are expected to rise to 90°F, increasing the chances of thunderstorms. Following Thursday’s tropical system impact, the region is forecasted to remain dry but warm, with highs staying in the upper 80s to low 90s through Saturday.
