Miami, FL – A tropical storm warning is in effect for Florida’s Central West Coast, including coastal Collier, mainland Monroe, and Gulf waters, as Potential Tropical Cyclone Four approaches. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Miami issued the warning Friday afternoon, urging residents to prepare for severe weather conditions.
According to the NWS, the warning covers regions such as Naples, Everglades City, and Immokalee. A tropical storm watch is also in place for far south Miami-Dade, primarily affecting non-populated areas of the Everglades. Additionally, a small craft advisory has been issued for the Atlantic and Biscayne Bay.
Meteorologists predict heavy rainfall, strong winds, and possible flooding as the storm advances. Residents are advised to secure outdoor objects, avoid unnecessary travel, and stay informed through local news and weather updates.
