Bolingbrook, IL – Thousands are expected to attend this year’s 4th of July celebration at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, where festivities kick off Friday afternoon with live music, food vendors, and fireworks — and several major road closures in place.

According to event organizers, gates open at 3:00 p.m. Friday, with free shuttle service beginning at the same time from Plainfield East High School. Visitors are encouraged to use remote parking locations due to limited on-site access. Handicapped parking will be available at the golf club, while general parking will cost $20 at the Lions Club lot across the street.

Ride share drop-off and pickup is designated at Bolingbrook Fire Station #5 on Rodeo Drive. Kings Road will be completely closed, and access to Rodeo Drive from Essington Road will be restricted during the event. Violators parking along Kings Road may be ticketed or towed. Residents with printed HOA guest passes will retain access to neighborhood streets.

The celebration, marking Bolingbrook’s 60th anniversary, includes a kids’ zone, putting contest, and VIP viewing pods for purchase. Pets and grills are prohibited on-site for safety reasons.

With heavy crowds and multiple road restrictions expected, attendees are advised to arrive early, plan shuttle use, and follow all posted parking instructions to ensure a smooth and festive evening.
