Towson, MD – Four teenagers were taken into custody Saturday evening after Baltimore County Police say a group of teens was assaulted and robbed near Towson Town Mall.

According to the Baltimore County Police Department, officers from Precinct 6 responded around 8 p.m. to Dulaney Valley Road and Fairmount Avenue after reports of a stabbing involving juveniles. Investigators determined the incident stemmed from a second-degree assault and robbery that occurred inside the Towson Town Mall, located in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road.

Police said one teenage victim sustained lacerations from a screwdriver allegedly used by one of the suspects. The victims’ stolen property was later recovered by officers at the scene.

Of the four teens arrested, three were released to their parents while one was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services. The suspects range in age from 14 to 17 years old.

Baltimore County Police stated they are working with Towson Town Mall security to ensure compliance with the mall’s parental guidance policy. The rule requires anyone 17 or younger visiting after 4 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at least 21 years old.
