Waukon, IA – An EF1 tornado touched down north of Waukon on Monday night, causing minor damage and no reported injuries. The tornado, which occurred around 10:30 p.m., had a path length of nearly four miles and peak winds reaching 105 mph.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the tornado was on the ground for approximately nine minutes, with a maximum width of 50 yards. The preliminary damage survey results indicated that the tornado’s path stretched 3.79 miles through Allamakee County.
