Tornado Activity Under Investigation in Western Pennsylvania

Pittsburgh, PA – Following an active weather day, the US National Weather Service has deployed three teams to survey possible tornadoes in several areas of Western Pennsylvania. 

The assessment focuses on North Fayette, the Delmont/Export area, and regions farther east, including areas north of Blairsville and near New Florence. 

According to the National Weather Service, the teams are working to confirm if tornadoes touched down and determine their EF ratings. This confirmation is expected later today.
