Tippecanoe County, IN – A late-night traffic stop attempt turned into a multi-county pursuit last Friday after an Indiana State Trooper tried pulling over a vehicle that allegedly fled from Lafayette police earlier in the night. The chase, which began just before 11:30 p.m., spanned rural roads across Tippecanoe, Fountain, and Warren counties before ending in a snowy intersection, according to state police.

Police say the pursuit continued across multiple county roads before the vehicle left the roadway and became stuck in the snow at County Road 1000 East and County Road 450 North in Warren County. The driver was safely taken into custody.
