Tinley Park, IL – Tinley Park will launch its holiday season tonight with a community Tree-Lighting Ceremony at Zabrocki Plaza. The event begins at 6:15 p.m., with early arrivals invited to a community sing-along at 5:15 p.m.
Afterward, guests can explore the Holiday Market near the Oak Park Avenue train station. Open from 6 to 10 p.m., the market features nearly 30 vendors selling unique holiday gifts. Live entertainment will also delight visitors, including performances by Kirby School District 140 Choir and Band, T-N-T Extreme Dance, and the Tinley Park High School Jazz Band.
Photos with Santa will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets for complimentary photos are distributed 20 minutes before each session. Visitors are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to support the Tinley Park Food Pantry.
Additional attractions include old-fashioned carriage rides through downtown Tinley Park and exhibits at the Vogt Visual Arts Center and Tinley Park Historical Society.
