Tinley Park, IL – Attention Tinley Park residents: Significant street closures commence today at 7 a.m. as construction advances for the much-anticipated Harmony Square. The Village’s contractor is closing 173rd Street and North Street to facilitate the creation of this innovative multi-use plaza. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes to mitigate any inconvenience.

According to the Village of Tinley Park Public Safety, the closure is a vital step in installing essential infrastructure for Harmony Square, which is on track for a spring 2025 debut. The plaza will offer an array of activities and serve as a new community cornerstone at the heart of Downtown Tinley. Roadways are expected to reopen by the evening of March 29.
