Tigard, OR – A Washington County Sheriff’s Office K9 helped locate three people who fled from a traffic crash early Tuesday morning, December 23, 2025, near SW Taylors Ferry Road in Tigard.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 12:16 a.m. after a 2009 Hyundai Elantra struck a parked car in the 7000 block of SW Taylors Ferry Road. Witnesses reported seeing several people run from the scene.

Deputies, along with Tigard Police officers, set up containment and requested K9 assistance. Corporal Terry and K9 Griff joined the search, quickly tracking the suspects through nearby neighborhoods. The K9 team located all three near the 9000 block of SW Picasso Place in Tigard.

Authorities arrested 18-year-old Josa Zozaya, identified as the driver, on charges including reckless driving, reckless endangering, DUII, failure to perform the duties of a driver, and second-degree criminal mischief. Deputies said the other three occupants were juveniles.
