Thunderstorms with Large Hail to Impact St. Louis Area Tuesday Night

St. Louis, MO – Residents of St. Louis are advised to prepare for severe weather in the area on Tuesday night as thunderstorms are forecasted to bring large hail and damaging winds to the area.

According to the US National Weather Service in St. Louis, a cold front will move through northern Missouri, creating conditions for intense thunderstorms. The strongest storms are expected to hit between 6 p.m. and midnight, bringing the potential for damaging winds, large hail, and locally heavy rainfall.

These storms will drift east-southeast throughout the evening, gradually weakening as they approach the St. Louis area. Nevertheless, residents should remain vigilant and have multiple ways to receive weather warnings. It’s crucial to know where to seek shelter if storms threaten your location.
