Wheaton, Ill. — The Downtown Wheaton Administration updated residents that the building renderings have been released for the new apartment complex, The Faywell, coming to the downtown area.
According to an article by the Daily Herald, a block south of LIberty Drive and north of Willow Avenue between Hale Street and Wheaton Avenue has been demolished. Banner Real Estate broke ground on the project, the Herald reported on July 8.
The Faywell, the new apartment block, is set to hold 334 units in the building. Banner also told the Herald that they plan to add an Egg Harbor Cafe as an anchor tenant below the apartment units. The apartment com[plex is also supposed to have a pool, fitness center, coworking lounge and bike parking with its location right next to the Illinois Prairie Path. The project is expected to be completed with the first tenants moving in by the fall of 2026.
