Louisville, KY – The region will end the weekend and begin the new workweek on a quiet and slightly warmer-than-normal note, according to the National Weather Service in Louisville. Sunshine and dry conditions will continue into Monday before a more active system approaches Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service, rain showers return Tuesday along with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms. Forecast precipitation charts highlight widespread rain chances for both central Kentucky and southern Indiana, with the highest coverage expected during the day Tuesday.
Ahead of the system, temperatures remain mild with highs climbing into the mid–50s to near 60 degrees across cities including Louisville, Lexington, Frankfort, Jasper, Madison, and Bowling Green. Overnight lows stay seasonable in the upper 30s to mid-40s.
After Tuesday’s rain, conditions turn markedly cooler for Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Despite the drop in temperatures, both days appear dry, with highs only in the 40s and lows dipping toward the 30s. Skies will feature a mix of sun and clouds, offering a chilly but quiet holiday stretch for travel and outdoor plans.
