Springfield, MO – The National Weather Service Springfield says southwest Missouri is in for a quiet and cool Thanksgiving after a few rounds of early-week rain.
Rain chances will persist through Monday night with 70–90% coverage, tapering off by Tuesday morning. A few isolated showers may linger into Tuesday before drier weather takes over. Temperatures will remain mild early in the week with highs in the upper 50s to mid-60s.
By Wednesday, cooler and clearer conditions will settle in, leading to a dry Thanksgiving Day. Highs are expected to range from the mid-40s to lower 50s, with overnight lows dipping into the mid-20s and low 30s.
Meteorologists note precipitation chances below 10% on Thanksgiving — excellent news for travelers and outdoor holiday plans.
