Fort Worth, TX – Occasional rain showers are expected to affect the Fort Worth area today and Sunday before clearing by late Sunday afternoon. The heaviest rainfall is projected for Saturday evening into Sunday morning. Drivers along I-35 should be cautious, as wet roadways may lead to slick conditions.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), total rainfall accumulation will average between 0.1 to 0.25 inches, with higher amounts possible in scattered areas. Temperatures will stay cool, with highs reaching the mid-40s to 50s today and climbing to the low 60s on Sunday.

Rain chances decrease Sunday afternoon, leading to drier conditions for the workweek. Monday and Tuesday are expected to be sunny with highs in the mid-50s, offering a welcome break from the weekend’s gloomy skies. Nights will remain chilly, with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s through midweek.

Southwest winds of up to 10 mph will accompany the rain Saturday night, shifting to the northwest by Monday. Patchy fog is possible early Tuesday morning but will clear by the afternoon.

Plan accordingly if traveling this weekend or attending outdoor events in Fort Worth. Use caution while driving in wet conditions and keep an umbrella handy through Sunday morning. Stay tuned for updated weather alerts as conditions develop.
