Fort Worth, TX – A stretch of clear skies and rising temperatures will bring unseasonably warm conditions to North Texas through midweek, with Fort Worth expected to reach a high of 86°F by Wednesday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, calm winds overnight Monday will give way to increasing southerly breezes Tuesday, eventually gusting up to 25 mph on Wednesday. These wind shifts will help drive a noticeable jump in temperatures — from a low of 46°F early Tuesday to a high of 86°F just 48 hours later.

The weather pattern is expected to remain dry, offering favorable conditions for travel, construction projects, and outdoor events. Still, residents should take precautions against heat exposure, especially during peak afternoon hours. Light layers and hydration are advised for outdoor workers.

By Thursday, temperatures will settle slightly with highs near 82°F and lighter winds. Clear conditions will continue into the weekend, with Friday seeing a high around 78°F before another warmup toward Monday’s projected 88°F.

This warming trend aligns with early April averages in North Texas but pushes slightly above normal for this time of year. No rainfall is in the extended forecast through at least Monday, keeping the region under ideal travel conditions.
