Lubbock, TX – A cold front has brought cooler and breezy conditions to the Texas Panhandle, with temperatures remaining mild but noticeably lower than previous days.
According to the National Weather Service in Lubbock, winds have shifted out of the north, bringing a chance for light rain showers across the Caprock this morning. Some snow showers may develop across the far southwestern Texas Panhandle, though no significant accumulations are expected.
High temperatures for Saturday will range from the lower 50s in Friona to the mid-60s in Aspermont, with Lubbock reaching around 57°F under mostly cloudy skies. Wind speeds will generally range from 10 to 15 mph, with some areas experiencing gustier conditions.
