According to the National Weather Service, a 50% chance of storms begins late Tuesday evening, peaking overnight. Some storms could turn severe, producing damaging winds and frequent lightning. Tuesday’s high will reach 96°F with a heat index potentially hitting 101°F. South winds will shift northward by evening, increasing to 10 mph. Drivers and residents are urged to secure outdoor items and avoid travel during active storms.

Wednesday brings continued thunderstorm chances at 50%, with the potential for additional severe weather. Daytime highs will hover in the mid-80s, followed by another round of storms Wednesday night with a 20% chance. While Thursday offers some relief with partly sunny skies, storm chances climb again to 50% into the night.
