Fort Worth, TX – A warm and dry weather pattern will persist across North and Central Texas through Saturday before low storm chances return on Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, temperatures will rise into the upper 70s and low 80s through the weekend, with breezy conditions expected on Sunday. A weak cold front will move through the region late Sunday, bringing a 20% chance of isolated storms, particularly near and east of the I-35 corridor.

The elevated wildfire risk will remain a concern west of I-35, including areas near Waco, Killeen, and Cisco, where dry and windy conditions will persist. Residents are urged to stay alert for fire hazards through Saturday.

Sunday’s storm chances are currently low, but forecasters suggest monitoring updates as the system approaches. Cooler temperatures are expected early next week following the front.
