Houston, TX – A stretch of unseasonably warm, dry spring weather continues in southeast Texas, with Houston expected to hit 85°F by Wednesday afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, clear skies and mild overnight lows will dominate the region through at least Sunday. Winds remain light, and no rain is in sight, which raises potential fire risks along dry corridors like I-45 between Houston and Conroe. Residents should monitor for any outdoor burn restrictions and stay hydrated amid afternoon warmth.
Tuesday night will remain clear with temperatures dipping to around 55°F. Winds will shift slightly from the east to the southwest at about 5 mph. By Wednesday, sunshine returns with a high of 79°F, rising further to 85°F on Thursday, marking one of the warmest stretches of spring so far.
South winds pick up slightly midweek, reaching 10 mph Thursday and Friday. Nights remain comfortably mild, with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s, perfect for outdoor evening events.
Looking ahead, Friday brings more sun with a high near 82°F. The weekend forecast continues the dry streak: Saturday and Sunday will be sunny with highs of 81°F and 84°F, respectively. Monday is expected to reach 86°F under mostly sunny skies.
