Corpus Christi, TX — Dense fog continues to impact South Texas, with low visibility creating hazardous travel conditions on roads and waterways. A Marine Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM Wednesday for bays and nearshore waters along the Middle Texas Coast, with visibility dropping below one nautical mile.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Corpus Christi, fog will persist through the morning, gradually clearing by midday. However, patchy fog and drizzle are expected to return overnight, affecting visibility again early Thursday morning. Drivers on Interstate 37 and other major roadways should exercise caution, as slick conditions may develop.
Temperatures will remain mild, with highs near 76°F on Wednesday and warming to 78°F by Friday. Winds will be southeast at 10-15 mph, increasing into the weekend. Fog and light rain chances continue through Saturday morning, with clearer conditions expected by the afternoon.
Travelers and mariners should monitor local forecasts for updates and allow extra time for commutes. Visibility could remain limited during early morning hours for the next few days.
