Abilene, TX – Strong to severe thunderstorms are forecast to develop late Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning across southeast Texas, with large hail being one of the primary threats.
According to the US National Weather Service, hailstones could reach the size of quarters in affected areas. Damaging winds exceeding 60 mph are also a concern. The storms are expected to intensify during the evening and could pose significant risks to property and vehicles.
