Houston, TX – Four men were arrested this week following a three-day undercover operation targeting online child exploitation, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).
Between October 14 and 16, 2025, deputies with HCSO collaborated with the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office, Houston Police Department, and Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office to identify suspects allegedly attempting to solicit minors online.
According to HCSO, undercover officers posed as minors in online conversations with individuals who believed they were communicating with children. When the suspects allegedly attempted to meet in person for sexual activity, they were taken into custody. Each faces a felony charge of Online Solicitation of a Minor.
The individuals arrested were identified as Roderick Doyle, 35; Garhett Marr, 32; Rogelio Osmar Zamora Rivera, 54; and Giovanni Rivera, 27. Officials say the investigation remains ongoing and that additional charges may follow.
“These cases highlight the importance of proactive enforcement to protect our most vulnerable residents — our children,” Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a statement. “We’re grateful for the teamwork of our law enforcement partners who made this operation a success.”
Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding the community and bringing those who exploit minors to justice.
