By Wednesday, skies turn mostly sunny with highs in the low 70s, offering a crisp but pleasant start to the first full week of fall. Thursday brings a return to warmer afternoons, with Amarillo expected to reach 81 degrees under clear skies. Light winds will provide a calmer setup compared to Tuesday’s gusts.
