Amarillo, TX – Above-average temperatures will continue to blanket the Texas Panhandle through the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service. The region will experience lows in the 40s tonight, with highs reaching into the 70s and low 80s each day through Friday.

Tuesday night’s temperatures will dip into the 40s, with Amarillo, Dumas, and Dalhart expected to see lows around 48°F. Across the Panhandle, temperatures will stay in the 70s to low 80s through Friday, with mostly sunny skies each day.

According to the National Weather Service, the winds will remain breezy, ranging from 10 to 15 mph daily, with gusts possible at times. On Wednesday, highs are forecast to be between 75°F and 85°F, with winds from the north at 10 to 15 mph. Thursday and Friday will bring similarly warm conditions, with highs ranging from 70°F to 83°F, and wind shifting to the southeast by Friday.

This extended stretch of warm weather comes as the Panhandle heads into a typical spring pattern, with clear skies and moderate winds.
