Lubbock, TX – A sunny Monday across the Texas Panhandle will give way to dense fog overnight into Tuesday morning, particularly west of Lubbock near Levelland and Dimmitt. The National Weather Service warns that visibility could drop significantly, potentially impacting early morning commuters along Highway 84.

Monday will see highs around 59°F with calm southeast winds at 5 mph, creating pleasant conditions. Overnight, temperatures will dip to 39°F as clouds increase, setting the stage for fog formation. Drivers are encouraged to use low beams and allow extra time for travel during foggy conditions, expected to clear by mid-morning Tuesday.

By Tuesday afternoon, skies will brighten with partly sunny conditions and highs reaching 65°F. South winds at 5-10 mph will add to the mild weather. Wednesday will bring even warmer temperatures, with highs climbing to 65°F under mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will remain in the 30s to 40s.

The week will feature mostly clear skies with a slight cooldown by Thursday, as highs drop to 56°F. Morning fog is not expected after Tuesday, and no hazardous weather is forecast for the remainder of the week.
