According to the National Weather Service in Amarillo, Monday’s high is forecasted to reach 79°F, nearly 20 degrees above normal for early February. Winds will shift from the west at 10–15 mph, increasing fire danger in dry areas. Tuesday will stay warm at 73°F before a midweek cool-down brings highs in the 60s by Thursday.
The five-day outlook remains mostly sunny, with a peak high of 79°F on Monday and cooling to the upper 60s by Friday. Stronger winds midweek may lead to hazardous driving conditions on I-40 and US-287.
