Houston, Texas – Thunderstorms will dominate the start of the week in Houston, where dangerous heat and heavy rainfall could create a difficult Tuesday commute. According to the National Weather Service in Houston, showers and thunderstorms are most likely after 2 p.m. Tuesday, with new rainfall amounts of up to a half-inch possible. The evening is expected to clear, but the reprieve will be short-lived as another round of storms builds late Wednesday and Thursday.
