According to the National Weather Service in San Angelo, a 70% chance of storms will begin after 1 p.m. Thursday. Rainfall totals may reach a quarter inch, and south-southeast winds will gust near 20 mph. Motorists traveling along U.S. 67 and Loop 306 should remain alert for wet roads and reduced visibility through the evening.

Thursday night brings another round of thunderstorms with a 60% chance of rain before midnight. Fireworks events and outdoor gatherings may be delayed or canceled due to lightning threats. Residents are urged to secure outdoor items and charge devices in case of isolated outages.
