Austin, TX – A dense fog advisory remains in effect across Central Texas through 10 a.m. Wednesday, with widespread fog and drizzle reducing visibility to one mile or less in many areas. Commuters should use caution on I-35 and local roadways as slick conditions and low visibility create hazardous driving conditions overnight and into the morning hours.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Austin/San Antonio, light drizzle will persist into Wednesday afternoon, followed by increasing rain chances and possible thunderstorms Wednesday night into Thursday morning. A Pacific cold front moving through the region will bring clearing skies and cooler mornings by the end of the week.
