MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Showers and thunderstorms will sweep across the Memphis area overnight into early Saturday, bringing a wet start to the weekend before skies clear and sunshine returns. Drivers may face slick roads early Saturday morning, but conditions should improve by midday.

According to the National Weather Service in Memphis, rainfall chances remain high through 10 a.m. Saturday with a few thunderstorms possible before gradual clearing sets in. Temperatures will top out near 75 degrees Saturday afternoon before climbing into the low 80s Sunday.
