Nashville, TN – Nashville is bracing for several rounds of storms beginning on Tuesday and extending into early Wednesday, particularly impacting areas along and east of the I-24 corridor. The US National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a warning for potentially severe weather conditions, including flash flooding and damaging winds.

According to the National Weather Service, the first wave of storms is expected early Tuesday morning, followed by another round in the afternoon and evening. A third round may hit Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning. Some storms could be severe, producing flash flooding, high winds, and frequent lightning.

Tuesday’s high temperatures are forecasted to reach 94 degrees, with partly cloudy conditions early in the day, turning mostly sunny by late morning. The storms are predicted to start developing in the afternoon, bringing heavy rain and strong winds. Nashville residents are advised to stay weather aware and monitor updates from local authorities.

Wednesday will see a slight dip in temperatures, reaching a high of 95 degrees, with the potential for lingering thunderstorms in the early morning. The rest of the week is expected to be hot, with temperatures climbing into the mid-90s and a mix of sunny and partly cloudy skies.
