Huntsville, AL – Quiet, dry weather will dominate the Tennessee Valley through the end of the workweek, with a steady warm-up pushing temperatures into the 80s by the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, highs will remain in the upper 60s to mid-70s through Thursday, with clear skies and no rain expected across North Alabama. Overnight lows will dip into the low to mid-40s, creating cool starts before warming quickly each afternoon.

Cities including Huntsville, Decatur, and Florence will see temperatures climb into the upper 70s by Friday, signaling the start of a more noticeable warm-up. By Saturday and Sunday, highs will reach between 80 and 85 degrees across much of the region.

Along major routes like I-565 and U.S. 72, commuters can expect consistent, dry conditions with no weather-related travel impacts through the week. The lack of rainfall may begin to dry out soils, especially in open and rural areas.

Residents should take advantage of the stretch of sunny weather but prepare for warmer afternoons heading into the weekend. Dry conditions are expected to persist into early next week, with additional updates possible if rain chances return.
