Huntsville, AL – A patchy fog advisory has been issued for tonight across the Tennessee Valley, potentially reducing visibility on major roadways such as U.S. 231 and I-565. The fog is expected to form after 1 a.m. and could persist into early Saturday morning, creating hazardous driving conditions for those out late or heading out early.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures tonight will drop to around 64°F, with calm winds contributing to the formation of fog. Drivers are urged to exercise caution, reduce speed, and use low-beam headlights to improve visibility in foggy conditions.

Saturday will bring clear skies and hot temperatures, with highs reaching 88°F by the afternoon. Calm winds will keep the heat lingering throughout the day. Sunday’s forecast is much the same, with highs again nearing 88°F under sunny skies.

Next week will bring some relief, as cooler temperatures are expected to move in by Tuesday, when the high will reach only 78°F. The Tennessee Valley can look forward to a break from the heat, with sunny and mild conditions continuing into midweek.
