Huntsville, AL – Drivers across the Tennessee Valley are being urged to use caution this morning as locally dense fog continues to linger in several low-lying areas, according to the US National Weather Service in Huntsville. The early morning fog may reduce visibility for commuters but is expected to lift as temperatures rise later in the morning.

According to the latest extended forecast, dry and mild fall conditions are expected to continue through the weekend. Highs will range from the low 70s to around 80 degrees, with overnight lows dipping into the upper 40s and 50s.

Forecasters report that Thursday will bring partly cloudy skies with highs around 72–77°F, followed by sunny and pleasant weather Friday through Sunday. Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be the warmest days, with highs near 80°F and comfortable evening lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

The Weather Service says no rain is expected over the next several days, providing ideal outdoor conditions but advising drivers to remain alert for fog in the early mornings through midweek.

Residents are encouraged to check local forecasts before traveling and allow extra time for morning commutes when fog is present.
