Huntsville, AL – Residents across the Tennessee Valley can expect mostly sunny skies and hot temperatures through the weekend, with only a slight chance of showers midweek.
According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, Wednesday brings a 20 percent chance of a shower or thunderstorm, with highs between 82–92 degrees and lows near 60–67. After that, conditions are expected to remain mostly dry and sunny.
Thursday’s forecast calls for highs between 83–93 degrees with cooler lows dipping into the upper 50s. Friday and Saturday continue the warm trend, with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s and lows in the low-to-mid 60s.
Forecasters say the pattern will hold into the weekend, making it a favorable stretch for outdoor activities across north Alabama and southern middle Tennessee. Monte Sano State Park, Lake Guntersville, and other popular recreation spots are expected to see plenty of sunshine.
While the chance of rain is low, officials remind residents to take precautions against heat stress, especially with afternoon highs climbing into the 90s. Staying hydrated and limiting strenuous outdoor activities during peak sun hours are recommended.
This warm and mainly dry pattern is expected to continue into early next week.
