Officers found Brandon Watson, 42, dead in the store’s parking lot. His alleged accomplice, Antione Ellis, 44, was reportedly shot in the neck and later drove himself to Southern Hills Medical Center. Ellis was transferred to Skyline Medical Center for further treatment, police said.
Authorities have issued arrest warrants for Ellis, who will allegedly face charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and felony gun possession upon his discharge from the hospital.

Police said the attempted robbery quickly escalated when the Charger’s driver fired multiple shots, causing both suspects to flee. The driver allegedly exited his car and fired additional rounds, striking both men before leaving the scene.
Detectives continue to pursue leads to identify and locate the Charger driver as the investigation remains ongoing.
