Nashville, TN – A Nashville woman was allegedly shot and killed by her husband Sunday morning in what police believe was a murder-suicide inside the couple’s condominium.

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. on 31st Avenue North. Authorities identified the deceased as Steven Pierce, 46, and his wife, Amina Pierce, 30.

Investigators reported that the couple had allegedly been arguing over financial matters and divorce prior to the fatal shooting. Steven Pierce allegedly shot Amina before taking his own life. A revolver was recovered at the scene, believed to have been used in the shooting.
