According to the National Weather Service in Memphis, rain chances hold near 50% through midday, with highs climbing to 69 degrees. East winds around 5 mph will turn westerly as the day unfolds. Rainfall amounts stay light, generally under a tenth of an inch, but brief showers could slow drivers on I-40 and I-55.
Clouds remain in place tonight with lows near 56 degrees. Tuesday shifts the pattern. Skies turn partly sunny, and temperatures surge to 77 degrees. South winds increase to 10 to 15 mph, adding a noticeable spring feel to the air.
By Wednesday, highs reach 78 degrees with a 30% chance of showers after 3 p.m. Storm chances increase to 40% Wednesday night. Showers and thunderstorms become likely Thursday, with rain chances near 60% and highs holding near 78 degrees.
