Madison County, TN – Authorities are continuing their search for three inmates who escaped from the Madison County Jail earlier this week, with officials now offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to their capture.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, the escape happened Sunday, September 14. Sheriff Julian Wiser immediately opened an investigation into the incident, which remains ongoing. Deputies, investigators, and partnering agencies are interviewing known associates, checking multiple addresses, and using surveillance to track down the suspects.
Investigators identified the escapees as Dillon Decker, Cameron Campbell, and Brandon Forbes. Decker, who has ties to Middle Tennessee, is believed to have fled in a stolen utility truck that remains unrecovered. Officials also warned against misinformation circulating online, clarifying that the vehicle has not been located and Decker is not in custody.
Both Campbell and Forbes are known to have ties in the Jackson-Madison County area. Detectives confirmed that Forbes was seen at a local residence in Jackson on the day of the escape. Authorities believe the two may be receiving assistance from others in the area.
The sheriff’s office emphasized that the public should not approach the escapees but instead call 911 or submit tips. Anyone with information can contact the Madison County Sheriff’s Office at 731-423-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 731-424-8477.
