Memphis, TN – A dense fog advisory is in effect this morning, impacting several counties in Tennessee. The National Weather Service in Memphis issued the advisory, warning drivers of reduced visibility to a quarter mile or less until 9 AM CDT. Hazardous driving conditions are expected in areas of dense fog, and drivers are advised to reduce speed and use low-beam headlights.

According to the National Weather Service, the fog will lift as temperatures rise throughout the morning. The forecast for Memphis predicts clear skies and temperatures reaching 90 degrees by this afternoon. The rest of the week will see a gradual increase in temperature, with highs reaching the mid-90s by the weekend.

Friday’s forecast includes sunny skies with a high of 93 degrees. Saturday and Sunday will continue the trend with highs of 95 and 96 degrees, respectively. The beginning of next week remains clear and hot, with temperatures peaking at 95 degrees each day through Wednesday. A slight chance of rain returns on Thursday, with a 40% chance of showers and a high of 90 degrees.
