Nashville, TN – Police are asking for the community’s help in locating a Dodge Charger involved in a fatal pedestrian crash late Thursday night.

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the incident happened around 8:20 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Haywood Lane and Hopedale Drive. Investigators say a dark-colored Dodge Charger struck a man crossing Haywood Lane and then fled the scene, continuing east on Haywood.

The victim has been identified as Lha Tun, 32, of Cimarron Way. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died.

Police say the Charger will have significant damage to the driver’s side. Officers are urging anyone who saw the vehicle or knows who may have been driving it Thursday night to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Tipsters may remain anonymous and could qualify for a cash reward.
