Nashville, TN – A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a 2024 robbery-related homicide at William Pitts Park in South Nashville.
According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, TITANS Unit detectives arrested Jamier Logan, 18, on Friday in relation to the November 30, 2024, fatal shooting of Mohamed Keita, 23. The incident occurred at the park off Tusculum Road.
Police said Logan, who was 17 at the time of the killing, is facing a criminal homicide charge in Juvenile Court. Records show Logan had previously been released on $35,000 bond following an April 16 arrest for vehicle theft, evading arrest and theft of property. He was also arrested last week on an outstanding warrant for aggravated burglary tied to an August 14 break-in, during which he allegedly confronted a resident over an ongoing dispute.
Authorities confirmed this is the third arrest tied to Keita’s death. Angel Sandoval, 18, was taken into custody on May 30, while Jazlynn Summers, 18, was arrested March 6. Investigators reported Summers admitted to helping arrange and participate in the robbery that led to the shooting. Police said both Sandoval and Summers were 17 at the time of the incident and are also being prosecuted in Juvenile Court.
Metro Police have not released additional details regarding court dates or possible adult transfer hearings for any of the suspects. The case remains under investigation.
