Woodridge, IL – Two teens face charges after allegedly using Snapchat to set up a meeting where they robbed a man at gunpoint in Castaldo Park on Friday evening.

Authorities say the victim had arranged to sell Apple AirPods and two hoodies for $495 to a 16-year-old Woodridge boy. Upon meeting, the teen and 18-year-old Jordan Jones of Oswego allegedly used a BB gun to threaten the victim before taking the items and fleeing the scene.

Police later apprehended Jones and identified the juvenile, who surrendered the next day. Both face felony robbery charges. Court appearances are scheduled for December.
