Tampa, FL – West Central Florida is gearing up for a quiet and warm work week, but residents should prepare for patchy morning fog each day before skies gradually clear. The overall pattern remains calm, with temperatures steadily warming into the mid-80s through Friday.

According to the National Weather Service Tampa Bay, fog will form during the early morning hours Monday through Thursday, potentially reducing visibility for commuters across Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, and surrounding counties. Once the fog lifts, most areas will transition to mostly sunny or partly cloudy skies with minimal rain chances.

Monday starts the pattern, bringing highs between 79–83°F and morning lows ranging from 57–64°F. Conditions remain nearly identical Tuesday, with highs in the 79–85°F range under partly cloudy skies. Wednesday continues the foggy start trend, with highs peaking around 79–86°F, followed by light onshore breezes and quiet afternoon weather.

Thursday marks the warmest day of the week as highs reach 80–86°F across the region. Forecasters continue to highlight morning fog as the primary impact, though no meaningful rain is expected. By Friday, skies turn mostly sunny, and temperatures remain in the low to mid-80s with comfortable overnight lows in the upper 50s to mid-60s.

Forecasters note that while the week poses little risk of severe weather, drivers should use caution during morning commutes, especially along coastal roadways and low-lying inland areas prone to fog formation.

Residents are encouraged to monitor daily forecasts for visibility updates and any minor changes to early-week fog potential.
