TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – North Florida is waking up to another flawless stretch of fall weather — crisp mornings, clear skies, and dry air that will last through most of the weekend. This week’s steady sunshine will bring near-perfect outdoor conditions for football games, park walks, and early Halloween decorating.

According to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, high pressure over the Gulf will keep skies bright and winds light through Saturday. Temperatures will climb into the low to mid-80s during the day, with comfortable lows near 60 degrees. For drivers along I-10 and U.S. Highway 27, visibility will remain excellent, and humidity levels will stay low through Friday.

Thursday and Friday will feature abundant sunshine and calm winds — ideal for campus activities around Florida State University and for home improvement projects. Residents should still stay hydrated during the afternoon hours, as full sun will push temperatures slightly above normal for mid-October.

Saturday continues the trend with mostly clear skies and highs near 82 degrees, creating ideal conditions for fall markets, local football tailgates, and pumpkin patch outings across Leon and Gadsden Counties. However, a weak front will approach late Sunday, introducing a 40% chance of scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms.

Next week looks seasonably warm and dry again, marking a smooth, steady start to late October across the Florida Panhandle.
