Millsboro, DE – Two Millsboro residents were arrested Thursday after a Probation and Parole search led to the discovery of methamphetamine, prescription pills, and suspected drug proceeds, according to Delaware State Police.

On October 30, 2025, around 3:45 p.m., the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force responded to a request from Probation and Parole following an administrative search at probationer Amanda Seward’s residence on the 28000 block of Godwin Street in Millsboro. Officers reportedly found illegal drugs, paraphernalia, and cash inside the home, prompting the detainment of Seward, 34, and Brian Truitt, 40.

A further search recovered approximately 23.77 grams of methamphetamine, three hydrocodone pills, multiple drug test kits, digital scales, paraphernalia, and $621 in suspected drug proceeds.

Seward was charged with multiple felonies, including possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (Tier 2), possession of a controlled substance (Tier 2), and conspiracy in the second degree. She was arraigned and released on a $27,800 unsecured bond, but later committed to Sussex Correctional Institution for probation violations.

Truitt faces similar charges and was released on a $28,800 unsecured bond following arraignment at Justice of the Peace Court 3.

Authorities did not report any injuries during the operation. The investigation remains ongoing.
