Cleveland, OH — Northeast Ohio will enjoy a stretch of dry and gradually warming weather to end the workweek before a stronger chance of rain arrives this weekend. The National Weather Service Cleveland office reports that Thursday will feature mostly sunny skies with afternoon temperatures ranging from the mid- to upper-40s across the region.
Friday continues the quiet pattern with sunshine and slightly milder air, setting the stage for a more pronounced warm-up on Saturday. High temperatures will climb steadily in the coming days, eventually reaching the 60s on Saturday, a notable jump from early-week chill.
Rain chances remain very low today and Friday, with probabilities sitting near 0% across all major reporting sites, according to NWS forecast charts. However, that changes late Friday night into Saturday as a system approaches from the west. Rain probabilities rise substantially—moving from 10–30% early Saturday to 50–80% by Saturday afternoon and evening, depending on location.
While widespread rainfall is likely Saturday, no severe weather is expected at this time. The system marks the return of a more unsettled pattern following several days of sunshine and calm conditions.
Residents across northern Ohio should take advantage of the mild, dry weather through Friday before planning for wet conditions over the weekend. Additional forecast refinements, including timing of Saturday’s rain, will be issued as the system draws closer.
