Fairbanks, AK – The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Fairbanks area and surrounding interior Alaska, effective from 3:00 AM Friday to 3:00 AM AKST Saturday.

Residents should prepare for several inches of snow and blowing snow, leading to slick travel and reduced visibility throughout Friday and into Saturday morning.
