State College, PA – Residents across central Pennsylvania may see occasional flurries and light snow showers through early this week, as colder air sweeps into the region, according to the National Weather Service in State College.

Forecasters say Monday will bring a mix of rain and snow showers before temperatures fall into the upper 30s, turning precipitation briefly to snow by late morning. Winds will shift northwest at 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph, creating brisk conditions throughout the day.

A few more snow showers are possible late Monday night into Veterans Day, when highs will stay near 39°F. While no significant accumulation is expected, slick spots could develop on untreated roads during the early morning hours.

Conditions improve by midweek, with skies turning mostly cloudy Wednesday and highs rebounding into the upper 40s by Thursday. Sunshine returns by the weekend with temperatures moderating into the low 50s.

Motorists are urged to use caution during the morning commute, as visibility may briefly be reduced during passing snow showers.
